Brekkie: hmmm...maybe half an english muffin and a Morningstar sausage or some chicken soup and crackers
Tummy troubles the last few days......probably just a tmi situation exacerbated by the Penicillin I'm taking. Nearly went to the emergency room last night, but it was just right under that level where I knew I'd have to go. Things are slightly better today. I didn't have to hold my belly flab for fear it would all fall on the ground..that's how it felt yesterday. My stomach is fine, growling, hungry. It's all the bits after that which are in turmoil.
My inner food addict pouts because she would like to eat good food on the weekend.
My inner athlete wants to go to Yoga and Zumba and get some weight training in and a good walk.
My inner critic is rolling her eyes , yawning , and tapping her feet.
My inner nurse self is diagnosing and watching for the symptoms that mean I HAVE to go to the doctor and is happy that the wisdom tooth is better and is gonna keep taking the penicillin.
My higher self / best self care taker is saying 'just chill, jello, applesauce, soup, crackers, tea, toast. sitting down activity or maybe walk around today and a nap. See how it goes. Heal baby"
The group consensus is giving the word of the day as "bummer" but is listening to her royal higher selfness.
I'm a Geek for many things: Food, Pajamas, Coffee, Chocolate, Movies, Books, getting and being fit and healthy, 80's music, and the list goes on and on .....A nurse, a diabetic, I've lost over 130 lbs and have more to go . And I actually enjoy working out.
I chose the names of Ms. PJ Geek and PJ and Pounds because I have happy memories of childhood, coming in dirty and sweaty from playing in the yard. Then taking a bath, putting on a fresh nightgown and feeling all new again . I felt like a princess. Fresh renewal. .........
All names and situations will be changed to protect the innocent and the guilty, and so I can keep my job. While I am a nurse, I do not intend this to be a blog with specific directions or guidelines for healthcare. And.....though I have a college degree, that was a long time ago ya'll, and I don't remember proper punctuation or grammar.
