It has been one of those days...I was thinking about how our pastor hadn't called to check in on my husband in a while (long story) and within 30 minutes out of the blue he calls.
Later, I was thinking about Ruby Gettinger and wondered what was going on with her and then I changed the channel on television and there was a segment on 20/ 20 about her .
hmmmm....

ReplyDeletemy husband was laid off from a job of 15 yrs--actually he elected to take severance versus taking a less desirable title / salary...He has no confidence or direction or belief in himself. Life is like walking on egg shells. I'm a 'have a problem? figure out a solution and do it kind of girl'. He is just at the recognizing his problems and his issues phase but any mention of coming up with a solution or a 'what are you going to do about it?"..and egg shells hurt feelings silences anger etc etc .......everywhere.
ReplyDeleteThat's a tough situation to be in PJ. You want him to get on with his life; he wants to sit and lick his wounds. Sounds a bit familiar. My husband had a back injury at work 7 years ago, surgery, labor and industry claim, and quit working 5 years ago. We had problems before that, but they certainly were exacerbated since he stopped working. I hope yours will finish with his "wounds" and have a turn around. xoxo PB
