To the weekend that is. I'm going to the mountains for a girls weekend and I'm past ready to leave. Two more work days though.
Today, I had half a day off for a dental appointment. Fun. At least, I did get a new spin brush from the dentist. Score! On the way home, I went to Starbucks and had a skinny mocha. Note to self: you really don't like Starbucks don't waste your calories/$.
Whine#1 I'm really tired of my knuckles hurting from my fall on the concrete the other day. Like, I'm so over it, fer sure. (valley girl?) I did give in and buy some Hello Kitty band aids--just for the heck of it. It's amazing what a little fall can do . By bed time each night I get so sore and achy. Petite little dew drop. Actually, it gives me great respect for those who suffer serious injuries.
Whine and Truth #2 On the health and fitness scene, I had bought a pair of Danskin workout pants several weeks ago and I wore them out to dinner the other night. I bought them because they are like built in spanx and they look pretty good. It's true what they say about wearing pants that are tight. You can't really eat a lot with tight pants on. Left overs for breakfast. And in reality , I really had just enough to fill me up.
Time for some Tylenol and bed time ..night y'all

I'm headed out for a scrapbook weekend, so I suppose you could call that a girls weekend (although I really only know one other person going). I'm packing all sweats and comfortable pajamas. This is probably a mistake...

ReplyDeleteYour knuckles are probably one of the worst places to get hurt. We use our hands so much, and the knuckles are almost always in the bent (stretched out) position, making it hurt even more. Do you use neosporin? I am a rabid fan of the stuff.
